Hi folks,

first of all let me say thank you to all of you who sent me an email after reading my personal remarks in last month's news. Your support felt really good.

We also appreciated your support at the only two shows we played in July - that very nice intimate acoustic trio gig at the Immerhin in Wuerzburg and a very fun rockin' rollin' show at the Karlstadt Umsonst & Draussen festival. Thank you all for coming out.

Live appearances will be rare in the next few months since I'll be hard at work on not one but two records. In August I'll be in the studio with our country-rockabilly outfit whose name is as yet undecided. We'll lay down a bunch more tracks and should get done with recording this month. I sure hope we can release that album later this year.

In October I'll be in Nashville, Tennessee recording the follow-up to "Hobo Dream" with some great musicians. I'm very excited and ready to start work on that album. I'm pretty confident it'll turn out pretty good.

Gearing up for this album I've demoed a bunch of songs and - in reference to my recent state of mind - recorded my own version of a country classic I'm sure y'all know. As a treat for all of you supporters and something to help bridge the gap till we come back out on the road, there's a website exclusive soundfile for you to check out in the sounds section

And there's also lots of great new pictures in the gallery and even a review of Hobo Dream that's not brand new but that was new to me.

Keep checking in here. I sure hope to arrange some more gigs in the next couple months and I'll post those dates here asap. And I'll also keep you up to date on how the recording's going.

Treat yourselves well, folks, and stay tuned,
Markus
