First things first: Unfortunately, the Songwriter Series is on hold as of now. The gig scheduled for this coming Sunday, Nov. 7, is not going to happen. I'm sorry to report that the venue pulled out after just one night. I'm trying to find a new locality in town to resume this worthwhile concert series but I can't imagine anything happening before February of next year. Sorry.

Thanks to everyone who made our trip up to the Hillbilly Guesthouse festival in Neusüdende so enjoyable. I had a great time up there in an acoustic quartet with the lovely Rachel Harrington, fellow Gunslinger Patrik Gröhn, and Smokestack Lightning bassist Bernie Batke. Mr Burns is one heck of a doghouse bass player and one of the finest fellers I met this year to boot.

On our way back home we stopped at Radio Flora in Hannover where we recorded some live acoustic songs before Rachel & I were interviewed. This stuff will air on Nov. 13 between 9 and 10 p.m. in a roots music show called "Crossroads". If I understand correctly, you'll also be able to find a live stream on the Radio Flora website.

This month we'll put some new stuff on the website: New live pictures and a new song to download. There's also a nice review and an interview in the current issue of Roadtracks magazine, both of which which we'll post asap.

I may even have a little Christmas surprise for y'all available through the website soon.
