Hi folks,

and the good news keep a-comin'. Eleven days from now, one of the bigger musical adventures in my, ahem, career is going to get underway. I'll be flying over into Music City, USA (aka Guitar Town aka Nashville, TN.) to record my fourth album.

Producing and playing guitar on this venture will be the great Duane Jarvis, guitarist extraordinnaire, who has released a string of strong solo records and has played with Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, The Divinyls and a whole bunch of great people. On top of being a truly terrific musician, he is also a great guy. I met him some months ago when he was on tour in Germany with Cindy Bullens. We got to talking and exchanged CDs and email addresses which is something that happens quite often. But DJ kept in touch, telling me he liked my stuff and he'd be interested in working with me.

After the great time I had recording with Jim Stringer & co., my mind was set on making this next record with the real pros. And DJ proved that he hadn't been bluffing. With the superb connections that he has in Nashville, he's been able to put together a red hot band. Boys, I can't tell you how excited I am to soon be playing with these guys. Oh gosh, I hope we're gonna fall into a good groove and make a good record.

I'm confident about my material, I know for a fact that the musicians are great, we'll be recording with George Bradfute - if I'm not mistaken we've got the right ingredients to make a great record. Either way, I'm pretty damn sure that this'll be an experience I won't be likely to forget anytime soon.

I'll get back by September 15 and will let y'all know how things went down. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Take care,
Markus
