Würzburg, March 8, 2003

Hi everybody,

just a quick hello to let y'all in on what's happening.

We've enjoyed our gigs in Niedersachsen. The gig at Holzminden's Strubbel-Peter was most enjoyable and we plan to be back there soon. The next night, it was great to see our friends from One Bar Town again and play with them in Hann-Münden at a wonderful venue called the Kurbelkasten. Unfortunately, the place was less than packed. One Bar Town celebrated the release of their CD "Say Me A Rosary" at that gig. It's out now and available through www.onebartown.de

Now we're looking forward to playing a concert dedicated to the Tibet Group of Würzburg. All the proceeds from this concert will go straight to Tibetan refugees who are struggling to make it outside of their home country. Playing with us that night will be Würzburg's own Chris Fest, not only my best friend of more than 12 years but also a bonafide songwriter with real gritty and thoughtful songs. Next up will be the Black Velvet Band, an Irish folk band who have managed to turn every single one of their concerts in well over a decade into a rousing party of Irish jigs, reels and folk songs. And then we'll churn out some new rockers as well as some road-tested nuggets to round out the night. So come on out to the akw in Würzburg on March 26th.

See y'all soon, stay in touch,
Markus
