Hiya folks,

after a bit of a summer break we're back on track here. We got a bunch of gigs lined up in the upcoming weeks. Check out the tour dates section and come on out.

I've also got a new album coming out next month. It'll be entitled "Bag Of Tricks" and it features a whole bunch of cover songs we've accumulated these past couple years plus two as yet unreleased originals. It's going to be a fun album, I think you'll find plenty of stuff to enjoy! More info on that next month.

My first album "Gunslinger's Tales" and the 3rd one "Nowhere Begins" are sold out. There's about a dozen copies left of album #2, "The Devil & The Open Road". What we'll be doing soon is re-package and re-release those CDs. The plan is to make them available at an affordable price for those of you who want find out what I used to sound like earlier. And, really, there's good stuff on those records and it'd be shame if they weren't available anymore at all. The plan is to re-release "Gunslinger's Tales" in January with the others following soon.

On Friday, August 8, I was interviewed live on the air by SoundAuthors, a great American radio program that's mostly dedicated to literature but also providing a platform for great music every week. Six-time Grammy winners The Chieftains and the amazing Caroline Herring were on the show in recent weeks. They have some amazing talent on that show and I'm astounded they found me and asked me to be part of the program.

You can listen to an mp3 of that radio show at here. In case that link doesn't work, go to www.soundauthors.com and click your way through. Look for the Aug. 8 show. My segment starts at roughly 48 minutes.

That's about it for now. If you'd like to receive the monthly newsletter, please send a note to markusrill@yahoo.com

Hope to see you out there soon. Stay safe, stay healthy, keep rockin',
Markus
